Ministry sees Russia’s budget deficit at 1.5 tln rbl in Jan–Jul

MOSCOW, Aug 12 (PRIME) -- Russia’s federal budget was executed with a deficit of 1.522 trillion rubles in January–June, the Finance Ministry said in a statement citing preliminary data on Wednesday.

In July, the deficit amounted to 699.217 billion rubles.

Budget revenue stood at 10.399 trillion rubles, or 50.5% of the 2020 plan, including 3.002 trillion rubles of energy income.

Budget spending was seen at 11.922 trillion rubles, or 60.6% of the annual plan and 54.4% of the adjusted annual plan.

The ministry also adjusted its estimate of the budget deficit in January–June to 823.145 billion rubles from 955.881 billion rubles, according to previous estimates.

The Federal Tax Service collected 6.215 trillion rubles for the budget, which accounted for 47.2% of the figure projected for 2020.
